A story in 3 parts…and a prediction: I, for one, couldn’t imagine complaining to eBay about a manufacturing defect - a missed stitch on a Nike shoe. I, for two, cannot comprehend that eBay would respond with a full refund for a missed stitch on a shoe they didn’t create. I, for three, am wondering when eBay is going to kill the funds for their AG apologist tour, because I, for four, am sure it is coming.

Air Max Plus II’s. In 1999, I convinced my mom to buy me a pair of these for my birthday (you can probably still see the catalog shot @eastbay.archive ) - and she did. When they arrived, I tried them on - didn’t like how they felt (and also thought she spent too much money on them) so I told her she could just return them instead. She did. It was kind of a hassle for her - a few days later she said ‘I’m never going to order shoes for you again, so don’t ask.’ I didn’t. Shoutout to ma, tho.

So this is kinda the thing… Despite the fact that I’m over-the-hill and am considering TRT, I can play basketball. I’m not like crazy good or anything, but I can hold my own against most people that can play ball. @jacquemus x @nike j-force 1 DS pairs still come straight from the factory with flaws…not major but certainly minor. Anything stick out? I’m always a bit curious on the rubber soles and why - even unworn - they visually show inconsistencies. It’s not a major deal, but it does exist.
