IMO...it's just the lack of originality. It's hype and it's everyone just following the crowd. Sometimes it feels like everyone out there is going for the same 5-10 shoes at any given time and it's just boring. To me, it should be about personal expression. But I DO understand that the vast majority of those in this space aren't at a point where they actually even know what they're expressing. For some people, expressing themselves actually *means* showing their allegiance TO the crowd. Which, is fine, I just don't find it all that interesting. What about you? What do you feel is missing from 'the culture'?
