The first time I saw these, a buddy from Nikes innovation kitchen sent me a pic and I thought it was something he was loosely 'working on'. I had no idea they were an actual 'final product' that was set to release. The floppy leather gives full on 'work-in-progress' vibes and to me, look like a pain in the ass for casual wear.
My 'casual wear' is dropping/picking the kids off from school and/or walks in the park by my house and/or short hikes. So when I look at these, I see all kinds of rocks and sticks and barbs getting caught in between the different surfaces.
Anyway, this is a UNIQUE construction...and I have yet to see anyone really talk about these in any interesting terms...All I've heard about these so far is a half-assed nickname 'panda vomero'. And that is the just about the weakest one imaginable...
I've got a few NSFW ideas...but...the one off the top of my head is... 'floppy foreskins'. Any better ideas?
