Saw this a few months ago...kinda cool. Dumb question incoming...bear with me for a minute...
I was always under the impression (and know that I've read time and time again) that Nike sells us a product for us to strive towards...perfection. So I guess...the question I've got...is...why wouldn't they market these as shoes that help slow runners run faster? It is called 'the motiva', so maybe 'motivation' is part of the message, but I clearly missed something...
Not that it matters to me...I'm a slow runner. I'd be pretty stoked if Nike was releasing a shoe that encouraged me to run faster, although, I'm not totally sure they *could* do that...but...I dunno...I'm really just trying to understand the marketing here.
Any thoughts?
