Yesterday, I mentioned that I recently discovered a new favorite silhouette - the Nike BRSB. I found my fist pair on zumiez for like $50, and when I got it in and tried it on I went on a search for other additional colorways…of which…I found roughly 6 or 7 official colorways in total.
I found several posts on Twitter sharing the two colorways above and, being that I’m a sucker for dark shoes - that image of the black and gum pair had me searching far and wide for a pair close by (because it looks like the only pairs on Twitter are available in Kenya, Africa).
I know there are some red flags here - mainly, most of the pics showed a red box (not an SB box), and what retailer uses shoe trees to display new shoes, but hope on hope I kept looking.
I hit up my dude in Nigeria @sneakwithharleem and asked him about these…if it’s possible they were an official pair but like an African exclusive. He told me he couldn’t find any information on them either.
I’ve been to quite a few countries and have stumbled into several sneaker stores that have all kinds of ‘exclusive’ colorways of very popular shoes…but this is my first time seeing an ‘exclusive’ colorway ONLINE of a very non-popular shoe…like why would they even bother?
So I mentioned, yesterday, that I was chasing a non-existent colorway of the BRSB - this is that pair… Nike SB - if you’re listing that black and gum pair should be up next!
