There are plenty - *ahem* - PLENTY - of shoes that just aren’t for me.
Jordan Fives, in general, I’m just not much a fan of. So to see another pair of hyped fives - my eyes just kind of gloss over any details and I file it in the back of my brain with a ‘I wish I cared’ label.

I first heard of A Ma Maniére with their Diadora ‘Georgia peach’ collab back in like 2016 or so, but I haven’t seen all that much that interested me since then…that shoe was fire but I just never wore it. So. Passed it along.
So you could imagine some Jordan 5’s mixed with some A Ma Maniere style language and I’m just falling asleep over here…this stuff ALLLLLL looks the same to me.
It made me think…if JB or Nike gave me the opportunity to design one of my favorite silhouettes, I don’t think I could do any better. There’s just too many colorways and too many collabs out there to make something really stand out…
Although the design language of A Ma Maniere bores me to near-tears, at least it’s consistent…lol…there are some nice touches in these, but it all just ends up looking the same TO ME.
Looks like I’m in the minority here, tho, as it seems a lot of people really like these.
