Yeah yea i know i know...kanye this kanye that i saw that pic of @playboicarti and it reminded me of that week long period where @kanyewest was wearing those rhinestone encrusted sandals and how I never saw an explanation for it. And for all of his fanatical followers, I’m still kinda shocked I haven’t seen anyone try to replicate the idea. And for that, I’m still a bit confused. I still don’t think I’ve seen anyone come with a cohesive idea as to what that episode was about...

Was this a mental lapse in a long history of mental lapses?

Was he just experimenting with one of the the worst sneaker ideas ever?

Was he actually trying to get others to hop on the train?

Or was he trying to get Adidas to fall into a horrible-idea trap that he was hoping to sidestep?

A good friend at Nike gave me that last theory - that in this midst of him trying to get dropped from Adidas, he he was trying to get them to create a ton of these sandals (that wouldn’t sell) in order to show what a fiscal nightmare he could be... an interesting theory for sure...what do y’all think that was all about?
