If someone at Nike asked me to pick the next Air Max model that’s up for a retro, I’d say that I would have chosen at least 74 other Air Max models before the Air Max 2.5 TL. And that’s not because I dislike it or anything - it’s more because I just don’t feel like it was ever much of a hit. Nothing all that unique about it, IMO, and there are far more in the catalog that deserve some extra love (when the hell are we going to see the rest of the Air Max Plus line or the Air Max Walker or the Air Max Tailwind line???)…
That being said, I’ve had my eyes on these for a while and have been waiting to find them on discount and that time has finally arrived.
