Saw this the other day and thought it was interesting…MJ being the back line on 70% of all the most expensive sneaker sales…absolutely mind numbing to think of how many lives have been changed and how much money can be traced back to a dude who put a ball in a hoop for a living…if MJ never existed where would sneaker culture be? Where would Chicago be? The Bulls? Style? Athleisure? Nike? Sneakerlebrities? Instagram?
Nothing short of astounding.
I think I read somewhere that when Lebron left Cleveland the first time they predicted it’d have a negative $600m impact on the downtown area alone and I remember thinking like ‘oh snap I never even thought of a single person as impacting peoples pockets’ like that and 🤯
Anyway…just some food for thought
