I know this isn’t the best example (more just an excuse to show this shoe), but what do u think when companies take classic colorways from a different shoe and apply them to other unrelated models?
Obviously we’ve got a classic Iverson colorway on a classic running (?) model…and Nike does it all the time with Air Maxes and Safari colorways on all kinds of models…
Personally love it here…I think it’s funny how impactful colors alone can be..like if you think about it…vast majority of ‘sneakerhead’ sneakers are little more than color swaps on existing models (ie: not much in the way of new models).
