I think it was about 10 years ago I learned this…I walked into the Adidas outlet in Gilroy, CA, and saw a pair I had been tracking (3M Stan Smiths) for $9.99.
$9.99/pair, and they had SEVERAL FULL SIZE RUNS.
I wasn’t sure which size I actually wanted, so ended up coppin 6 pairs - 2 8.5’s, 2 9’s, 2 9.5’s - all for $60…all 6 cost less than the one pair I had been watching on eBay for a few weeks..
I watched the same adidas strategy with the ZX Flux, then the NMD, now the Pharrell, IVY Park and Yeezy models.
Look above - roughly 50-75% off retail.
Patience pays off when you’re talking Adidas…not always the case with Nike. All those AE1’s y’all paying above retail for? Give it a few months, you’ll be able to cop a pair for $50 or less…
