Been thinking about this a bit lately and how certain ball players just don’t have the ‘it’ factor that keeps their line(s) going. Think about Jordan - 39 deep on a 15 year career (and conversely Pippen with 4 shoes in a 17 year career) and started thinking about stars of today. Highly doubt they’re gonna take Lebron sig models well past his career but who knows?
Interesting to see we are at 17 with KD, only 5 or 6 with Giannis and PG…Steph obviously carrying Under Armor and the dudes with Adidas getting a much better rollout than their chances with Nike…
Made me wonder tho why some guys only get 1 or 2 sigs during a 15 year career while others get 39+…
