I always wondered…is the periodic table the same across cultures? Like do they use the English version of the name and number for each and every single element? Seriously a dumb question but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a non-English version of that table…
Makes me wonder also why Americans call Germany ‘Germany’ while Germany themselves call it ‘Deutschland’…like why wouldn’t we defer to whatever they call themselves?
Total sneaker nerd question - but have you ever wondered why Nike and Adidas tags are a half size off on the UK size? Like do adidas people think that UK people are somehow magically 1/2 size larger than Nike people think they are? Or is it just another disagreement in a long line of disagreements from the two companies?
