R dunks ded?
Don’t yall remember the plethora of articles and thinkpieces from 2021 that stated Nike was killing off the dunk? Pretty sure I wrote one myself, too.
But wow. How times have changed. I did an event this last weekend (@thelinkup.expo ) with nothing but mid-to-high dollar Dunks for our Dunky Dunk 2 card set and sold out MY WHOLE TABLE BEFORE LUNCHTIME. So…r dunks ded or nah? My head might say ‘yah’ but my wallet would say ‘nah’.
Anyway, after saying goodbye to 100+ Dunk items, I was thinking…if I could pick one or two pairs left by the void, which would I choose?
The color blocking on the court purple and classic green pairs is immaculate - subtle enough for subtle sneakerheads, unique enough for any color…makes me think…if Nike released a crayon pack of these and made them evergreen…Nike could have another accessible chuck taylor all star on their hands…
