I made a lot of complaints last year regarding the un-originality of Nikes sig on-court models from last year and gotta say this one is a step in the right direction.
Almost every designer I’ve ever talked with agrees - the swoosh is like the *perfect* logo for a multitude of reasons…so why is Nike so hesitant in using it interesting ways? I can really only think of a handful of shoes in which Nike uses the swoosh in unorthodox ways and most of them were a hit..Oski, Grateful Dead, Ben and Jerry’s…even the grudge.
From what I can tell, the swoosh on these Lebron 22’s looks like it could be an extension of his autograph on the heel…again, a dope application of the swoosh. What do y’all think? Is this a step in the right direction? Can you think of any other ways Nike could use this design/idea?
