On the one hand I love to see it. Lebron ‘grails’ sitting at Nike outlets.

On the other I get everyone saying that ‘nothing is sacred’. Because, you know, the re-release definitely makes it seem that those that came before us and searched these things out are left in the dust.

The longer I’m in this hobby the less I think it matters. And maybe that means I’m not a proper ‘sneakerhead’ or whatever but I’m kinda just over the whole FOMO nature of this sector of capitalism.

I’ve got those grail pairs that I’ve actively sought out that are currently falling apart and they definitely don’t make me feel ‘good’ about anything at the present. Would I rather have a wearable pair? Yea. Can I hate on some young kids for having wearable pairs? Absolutely not it actually gives us a frame of relatability.

Can I hate the company for rereleasing them? Yea. Easily.
Can I hate the company for NOT rereleasing them? Yea. Easily.

Anyway. There is no point to my rant other than…I suppose…I DO love to see it. I think, mostly, with sneakers, I love the community that comes from collecting and I think overly-accessible interesting pairs actually adds to it…sue me.
