I know Twitter is like a cesspool of human excrement...I frequently scroll twitter for a few days, notice myself becoming super negative, then I delete it for like a month. Once I feel like I’m being overly positive about things, I go ahead and download it again only to repeat the cycle. I don’t really even know who I follow on Twitter (or why), but the algo is getting better so I frequently come across interesting threads and hit that follow button.
If you have Twitter AND you know how to read, this thread is gold...just tweet after tweet about sh!tty experiences on StockX and the StockX account is responding to each and every tweet. And almost every single response from Stockx is something along the lines of ‘what is the 8 digit case number for your inquiry? We’d love to help!’
I’ve sold 5-10 items on StockX since COVID began and I got every single one of my payouts within a week. No issues whatsoever.
I’ve ordered 1 or 2 pairs from GOAT since COVID began and they literally sat in warehouses for more than a month. They weren’t sitting in GOAT warehouses - they were sitting in UPS and FedEx warehouses. UPS and FedEx are having a lot of issues right now.
Oh, and I’ve bought and sold more than 100 items on @eBay, @grailed and @mercari over the same time period and haven’t had a single issue.
I would be willing to bet that any issue you are having with StockX or GOAT at this time would have something to do with UPS. Avoid them at all costs. #savetheusps
