So here we are about 9 months later…It seems that the ‘Mambacita’ idea didn’t make it that far (yet). I saw the hoodie at my local consignment shop for under retail and it sat for at least a month. No shoes released, and no waves were made (yet). I’m kinda wondering what’s next, if anything…
I checked out the Mambacita website, and it says that Nike (amongst others) is *still* a partner.
WHAT IF….
Nike repaired their relationship with the estate of Kobe and Vanessa? How would you feel about it? What do you think would happen to the resale price of Kobes? What would happen to the desire and hype for Kobe retros?
It’s still hard to accept the events that transpired, but has the emotional gridlock let up yet?
I, for one, would be stoked. No need to worry about FOMO if there was a possibility everyone could get something for reasonable prices once again…
