Was thinking about the association of different shoes at different points in life and the first two I showed are almost indistinguishable in my life…just…side by side. They both came out around the same time and were both the two hottest shoes at the time…
I owned the Pennys and beat them to the ground (I even wore them at my high school graduation)..
I got my XII’s when I moved to New York several years later (they were impossible to find after I missed the initial release)
And the 98’s were just a hot shoe growing up.
The pennys were popular because the only Nike outlet near me (Folsom, CA), had several full runs of irregular (imperfect) pairs and they were super cheap…the XII’s were my favorite Jordan’s although most in my grade were beastin over XI’s…and…the 98’s were great because a girl I had a slight crush on had a pair 😂
