For years I swear the comment was ‘Nike starts with these collaborations with Supreme so that they can introduce these models to a larger audience down the road’ and it sounds nice and logical, but when you start looking at some of these releases that legitimately only show up for a single release you kinda gotta wonder what’s happening…
Are they basing possible ‘future’ releases on the collaboration ‘social media’ reception (as there tends to be a lot of bitching and moaning when the pics leak) or does it have more to do with the resale price? Turnaround time on most releases is like 18 months so how is it that NONE of these had GR releases to follow?
Personally still waiting on that GR load of 98 TLs but I’m afraid I’m never going to see them :(
