(1/2) A not-very-compelling-story...⁣ Pulled up to @buffaloexchange last night before running to the shop to pick up my shipments. Came across a pair of @undercover_lab x @nike React 87’s on the racks and was a bit skeptical as I didn’t recognize the colorway…not that that’s ever stopped me before - I frequently come across samples and shoes unreleased to the general public on a pretty regular basis. Not like a once a month kinda thing...more like a once every few months kinda thing. ⁣ ⁣ I had my suspicions about them, but Buffalo has an OK return policy so I snatched ‘em up and the cashier told me that the guy who sold them was a ‘sneaker hoarder’ and sold tons of shoes as he was ‘turning over a new leaf.’ I’ve heard it all before so took them home so I could take a closer look and do a bit more research. ⁣ ⁣ I figured I was either sitting on a sample or a pair of fakes…if they were a sample: big money. If they were a pair of fakes: quick return. ⁣ ⁣ Keep in mind - even though I frequently get paid to authenticate shoes - I’ve been burned before. I’ve been burned a few times but never something I couldn’t back out of... ⁣
