Another of my favorite Kobe GIFs...I’ve seen this quite a few times on @niketalk_com alone. This one was such a finalizer...usually when a handful of dudes are going in on each other in a thread, one would emerge victorious and then you’d see someone post this GIF and know the battle was over. ⁣

Some might remember how contentious of a teammate Kobe was - he was often accused of being a ball hog (rightly so) - but he learned to become more of a team leader over the years. After Shaq left the Lakers, Kobe had to put on his ‘leader’ boots and get to work, so this one is kinda dope to look at now after it’s all said and done - everyone on the team having the same reaction...Kobe the leader, but his teammates actually enjoying the camaraderie with Kobe too. ⁣

As many times as I saw the GIF, I still had to Google the play in question...swipe if you want to see it. It’s tough. Shannon Brown blocks Mario West so brutally the whole bench erupts in laughter. To be fair, this would have been a million times worse if West had seen it coming, but he was kind of oblivious to the whole thing until he picked himself up off the ground. ⁣
