This is the last pair of shoes I copped at my (now permanently closed) favorite @buffaloexchange that legitimately made me gasp. It's an original pair of 1988 Election sneakers with interchangeable patches depending on how the weather was going to vote (is: #michaeldukakis or #georgehwbush ). I had seen this pair once before on some blog post or something and just kind of assumed it was a one of a kind. ⁣

Apparently it wasn't a one of a kind, because I have a pair...so that means there are at least two pairs in the world...and I paid only $28. And I think they're the oy pair of @lagear that I own. They're old and falling apart but an incredible piece of history. Talk about @obscuresneakers ⁣
