Someone asked me my opinion on these the other day and I said ‘they look cool, but...like...totally impractical.’ ⁣⁣⁣

It’s more or less the same beef I have with most of those @off____white x @nike shoes - who wants to be walking around with pieces that are sure to snag on tree branches and sticks and will collect dirt and dust like they were made specifically for that purpose. Clearly not everyone grew up in the mountains (like me), so they can see the fashion-forward thinking behind these designs...I’m still stuck wondering how they would do in the backwoods on hikes and whatnot...⁣⁣⁣

That being said - I have a hard time imagining where I could wear these...a fashion show perhaps? I don’t think it’d look very appropriate for me to be wearing these to work. Or to run. Or to do errands. Or even to dinner or drinks with the wife. Maybe if I went to a comedy club the comedian could call me out for wearing them. I’m not hating, I’m just trying to imagine an appropriate place To wear these.⁣⁣⁣

They do look like they serve a very serious function...I’m just not totally sure what that function is. TO ME - they look kinda like skit boots for walking (s/o @thesneakdiss_sneaker_podcast). ⁣⁣⁣

Once again - I’m not hating - if I saw these for significantly lower than MSRP of $500, I’d definitely buy.⁣⁣⁣
