The first time I ever met the guys @PRSTG, I was there to purchase a pair of Kobes. I made my way to the shop and met @knocka_prstg for the first time...we talked for close to an hour and I shared with him all of my dreams of grading and preserving sneakers. By the time I left I had a pair of Kobe VII Dart Frogs (and a pair of Air Max 2003 Busy P’s)...I think I spent $150 for both shoes...but I was able to spend a great deal of time just talking to Knocka and learning all about his love for all things collectible.  
 
Honestly, I love the silhouette of the Kobe VII, and I really like the texture of the Kobe VII...I felt like Nike tried following up on the best synthetic texture EVER on a sneaker (the Kobe VI) but it was a tough act to follow. When I owned pairs of the Kobe VII...I just never wore them. Take a look at the pic...just pic after pic of Kobe VII I bought only to later sell a few months later because they weren’t racking up enough miles on my feet.  
 
Anyway, another one of the reasons I wanted to build the card set…
