I know I’ve been posting this one over and over but I can’t get over how sick this card (and these shoes) are. The Kobe V ‘Bruce Lee’...I remember when this pair came out, my buddy who is a HUGE Kobe fan (but not really a shoe guy) went wild over these. Such a perfectly storied pair. I’ll post an IGTV link to the clip on my next post in a few minutes. 
  
If you’ve been living under a rock - the inspiration from this pair comes from the yellow jump suit Lee was wearing in ‘Game of Death’ with (you guessed it) Bruce Lee...and a brief cameo by Kareem Abdul-Jabar. The movie itself is pretty terrible. It has a really dumb storyline but the martial arts are incredible. The scene with Kareem is unforgettable. I used to watch this movie a lot as a kid (I STILL have the VHS for this). The little red claw marks are actually from another, much more popular Bruce Lee movie - ‘Enter the Dragon’.   
  
I’m not totally sure about the connection between Kobe and Bruce Lee Movies...maybe he just wanted everyone to know that he came to kick ass… 
  
Anyway - cop yourself (or your favorite Kobe fan) a #824pack box and you’re bound to pull at least one Kobe V #brucelee … no need to spend $1500 on a 10+ year old shoe that’ll probably just sit in your closet anyway lol
