I’ve been selling on eBay for more than 20 years...and I’ve NEVER had a packing/mail day even close to the one I had yesterday - The closest mail day might have been 1/10th the size of yesterday. These are just boxes and boxes and boxes of cards going out to all y’all out there who chose to mess with the vision. Again, thank you to everyone who spent (and continues to spend) their hard-earned dollars with me.  
 
It may not look like much, but I ran out of supplies and that pretty much NEVER happens. The picture(s) aren’t great, but they represent about half of what I’m sending out.  
 
That brings us to the comment...it’s not the first time I’ve seen it, and it won’t be the last. I know that sometimes when you see something new, the impulse is to immediately dismiss it and laugh it off - especially in the age of the internet. That’s cool and it’s the nature of the beast when you’re trying to build something others haven’t really seen before. I get that. It’s been largely the same with the grading platform I built - a few people scoff, a whole lot more people think it’s interesting.  
 
But, again, I’m trying to fill a gap in my own life that I can no longer justify trying to fill in the ways I’ve been filling it. Again, I’ve owned thousands if not tens of thousands of pairs of shoes in my lifetime and I ONLY HAVE TWO FEET. What is the point of me spending another $1k on a pair of shoes that’s just going to sit at the bottom of my closet for 364 days a year? I suspect I’m not the only one who feels this way.  
 
Lastly, if the cards bring me just as much joy as the actual (physical) shoes, who can possibly make the inference into what people choose to place their value in?
