Semi-serious question.     I know everyone has a strong opinion on this, but I’m kinda ‘meh’ on the whole thing. For those who can’t live without a particular pair - IMO it’s a legitimate question.

If you look at my closet - I have like zero hype…the majority of my collection is full of stuff that really no one cares about. I’ve got $16 Frees and I’ve got $24 Waffles and I’ve got $40 90’s and beat Ultraboosts and I’ve got random sole swaps and vintage forces and I’ve got some old Jordans and I’ve got some old runners and some old random ACGs. So I’m not really the dude these guys are going after. I’m 40 years old. I’m not here to impress anyone. I’m here to spread knowledge and share a bit of my experience.  
 
I think...the most I ever spent on a pair of shoes...was $900. And I think I ‘broke even’ on that pair...it took me like 3 years to sell ‘em, too. A complete waste. Unless you’re rich, I think spending anything more than a couple of hundred dollars on any pair of shoes you want to wear is superfluous. There are - quite literally - thousands of different pairs of shoes that I’d be happy to rock on any given day. With so much variety - why would I get hung up on any one pair...especially an expensive pair?  
 
I get a lot of these types of pics sent to me. Pics from fake manufacturers. Pics from my friends. Pics from random followers. Pics I just come across through my searches. And if I were a dude fiendin over $1k shoes...I’d probably have little hesitation in crossing over to the ‘dark’ side. The temptation would be too great. 
 
I guess...all of that to say...I don’t envy y’all with the need for hype. Thank god I’m happy with my cheap ass bargain bin Waffles and frees 😂
