Shoes don’t just magically appear out of the sky months before their actual release. ‘Plugs’ really don’t just happen upon hundreds of pairs of the same, super limited shoe. Companies who hire 17 year olds to ‘inspect’ hundreds of pairs of shoes a day can’t ‘authenticate’ all of them without error. Nike doesn’t just VASTLY underproduce hot shoes because they couldn’t anticipate demand correctly.
