Personally I think it sounds like a frivolous lawsuit...I think I understand what they’re trying to accomplish, but I also don’t think that’s how the law was intended to work. I also think that the law doesn’t always matter when you’re talking about companies with unlimited money for long, drawn out litigations, though, so who knows what’s to come.  
 
What’s really interesting is the timing. Not even 8 hours after the shoes went up for sale a lawsuit from Nike quickly emerged. I mean...you’d think Nike would try to shut down @warrenlotas a bit quicker than they did (it took months). You’d think they’d try to shut down the countless factories advertising all over DHGate and Alibaba and IG and Twitter (which are still advertising all over my feed). And you’d think they might try to shut down the guys making Jordan 1’s with dicks instead of swooshes (I mean…). But. Who knows? I said it before and I said it again - whenever there is real authentic human blood involved in anything public, all bets are off lol 
 
I bet they hired a shitload of lawyers for the Warren Lotas thing and now they’re all just looking for stuff to prosecute. 
 
Regardless of what the intention was...it seems @lilnasx came out victorious. His name was everywhere for the better part of 3 days...he got to ‘spread his message’ and he wasn’t even named in the lawsuit. Famous, infamous, who cares? He got his 15 minutes several times over.  
 
If any of the ‘666’ pairs made their way out the door before Nike shut it down...those are gonna be quite the discussion piece…
