Now I don’t know if what I captioned above is true (this being a photo related to sneakers), but I’m most certain Nike has the rights to this photo as the only place I’ve seen it is on Nike published goods.
And…MJ being MJ…there are no shortage of beautiful photos of that man (I wouldn’t be surprised if he were the most photographed subject of all time)…
But there’s something about this photo in particular that is worth a million billion trillion words…and the thing is like if you weren’t there, it’d be impossible to describe. The time, the culture…everything.
It made me wonder…is there a more perfect, unstaged photo in the history of the sneaker?
