When I was in college, my older cousin lived in this party house up in Chico, California with a few of his friends. I visited him a few times and every time I visited I was fixated on their toilet seat - it was one of those resin things with a bunch of playing cards in it (swipe)…they called it the ‘royal flush.’ I don’t know why but I always thought it was dope.
For some reason I always liked items cast in resin or clear poly blend…one of the first sneaker heads I met in New York, this dude named Marcus, owned a patent for clear resin doorknobs with toys in them (for little kids).
High fashion and ‘laziness’ and whatever else aside, I think what I really like about the 2’s is the midsole and the endless possibilities there are with clear midsoles…and I’m totally here for it.
