I think this is such an interesting topic…after collecting sneakers for the better part of 25 years, I still can’t call it with any degree of certainty (other than the fact I believe it’s all on a case by case basis).
@snkrinvestor would have one thing to say (“sneakers are the next great asset class”), while @joshluber would have another (“sneakers are not a good investments”).
Having been around long enough to watch some of my favorite pairs crumble and turn to dust, I think the truth lives somewhere in the middle.
What do you think? For the sake of making money - Are you better off buying Nike stock or (dead)stock Nikes?
