I think @nikestories posted these other day on his outlet trip and it was the first time ever seeing this pair for a lot of people.
Not long after, a pretty serious Penny sample collector hit me in the DMs and said it was a sample that never actually released and he wanted to get his hands on a pair. He found a pair on eBay shortly after and he showed me the tag - top right is usually the factory code, but with the new QR code it seems this is also where they are notating whether or not a sneaker is a sample…IMO my best guess on deciphering it - obviously it says ‘YSSS’, which I believe breaks down into ‘YS’ (being the factory code) and ‘SS’ (being ‘salesman sample’). None of this is verified - can anyone else shed any light?
