Not to be ‘that guy’ but I’m totally gonna be ‘that guy’ right now. A few people asked me what I thought about @staley05 posting all of these pics of unreleased shoes and whether or not I think they’re authentic…
I’ll ignore the fact that I believe it is incredibly corny to study someone else’s shoes that they seem very happy to be wearing and will also mention that I almost felt guilty putting any thought to it, but I did and here it is…
…I do think they’re fake insomuch as they’re not sanctioned by Nike or ‘actual Nike factories’. I see these pairs all the time coming across the fake sellers pages on WeChat so am very apprehensive any time I see them in real pics.
Also - I don’t know if this is a fact because I don’t follow that closely - but on the second slide I see a @fragmentdesign_official logo that I don’t think is actually supposed to be there. Can anyone confirm?
And lastly - if she enjoys them, more power to her. I do think it’s strange to be posting them all over the place and I think it’s funny that so many people care, but that’s just me. It’s totally possible that they’re actually authentic and I don’t know what I’m talking about, but it’s obvious she thinks they’re real she enjoys them and she doesn’t appear to be doing anything malicious and that’s cool…who am I to judge?
