Hmmmm…
Nike *scrapped* this release back in April of 2021 after Vanessa Bryant called a few people out. A couple of pairs made their way out (pretty sure @dmxgod has a pair), but the rest of the pairs were scrapped and hit the regrind pile. Never to see the light of day.
Looks like the rep manufacturers decided that was a good entry point for them. If you look at the pics - they look pretty damn good…they took way longer than I would have thought but they do look good.
So…the question then becomes…if you are a Kobe fan and want to rock any and everything Kobe (that is NOT me but I know there are a TON of y’all out there) do you consider ‘supporting Kobe’ as buying the fake and wearing it proudly or do you consider ‘supporting Kobe’ as pretending the fake doesn’t exist?
I know some of y’all think that supporting Kobe means supporting his wife’s decision to scrap these pairs but I don’t know that I subscribe to that same train of thought.
The questions this stuff brings up… 😂
