I dunno, I like these new 97’s a bit more than I like the Wotherspoons…maybe it’s because I’ve seen so many thousands of pairs of the original (mostly on social media)…or because I’ve processed hundreds of authentications (online)…or maybe because I consider ‘retail’ or ‘slightly above retail’ to look a bit more enticing than $1,143 (current price in my size on the X) 😂 or maybe I just like looking at a new twist on a classic item…
In any case, I’ve always advocated for this…collectors versions and GR versions…so I’m down for the get down. Let’s hope they’re affordable!
