What do y'all think about the upcoming @off____white x @nike Air Force 1 mid?
Material looks cool, main colors are simple enough, detail colors are ok (did it have to be pink and blue?), and I love the *melted sole* look (I tried buying a pair of *melted sole* Obra low's a while back but for whatever reason they couldn't produce them)...I still don't know how I feel about those rubber spikey things for the soles, but...I dunno...again...from a design standpoint IMO anything that makes you stop and think is pretty cool.
I think these are dope...I'd love to own a black pair but also know it's 99.87% likely I'd never actually wear them...
In the whole @virgilabloh x @nike catalog, I have yet to wear any pair more than a handful of times (even though I've owned ~10 different pairs)...I know everyone has strong opinions on the topic...but I think he's did what any great designer did - he pushed things in a new direction.
These remind me of the ones that didn't do so well...the Kiger, the Waffle Racer, and the Street Vapors...I kinda hope they're a flop just so we can experiment with them :)
