For all the Nike loyalists that had a hard time accepting the great ‘bootleg renaissance’ of 2020-2021, why were Hender Schemes so widely accepted? Why were folks willing to drop $500-$1k on (essentially) the same thing? And not only that…why they were looked at as a more ‘high end fashion’ product?
Sure, I get the ‘veggie tanned leather’ thing…and they were nice shoes…but…what makes one of these more acceptable than another? Is it just the company behind it?
