Just gotta say I love posts like this...there used to be this dude on Niketalk that would post spreadsheets every week showing the top shoes in every category...wish I could find that info again.
But, yeah, here's some data driven snapshots of the sneaker-world at large...
Couple of things stand out (to me):
- Nike is 6.5x more popular than Adidas on court (not very surprising to me)
- Nike is 9x more popular than Jordan Brand on court (very surprising to me)
The post also stated that the Kobe VI is the top choice amongst players...which...being my age...is wild. I used to rock highs/mids for ankle support, but when I read the interview where Kobe said 'soccer players wear low tops' I immediately gave some Kobe V's and VI's a shot. I prefer them, too.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. Please, more info like this @nicekicks !
