I think it was the guys from @solesupremacy who had the 'Life > Shoes' slogan and, although I understood it, I'm not sure it fully hit me until I started expressing myself in more...creative ways.
Just remember - YOU are what makes YOU. Ain't no brand nor no greater approval that can tell you what YOU are.
As it stands, I don't think Nike even knows my name - they can't even acknolwedge the fact that I own hundreds (if not thousands) of their products...what do I need their approval for? Let me do me. Do you. Don't worry about what they do.
