I came across this article the other day and...yeah...I know it's OLD news (back from May of 2022), but the Kanye thing just reignited the whole basis...

This all just looks so frustrating...

I mean, I know, the dude plays ball for a living. And that's kind of a charmed life in and of itself, but how frustrating would it be for you if you created your own logo and a brand - a CORPORATION - can just assume ownership?

I get it. There are contracts in place and there are things that need to be set and agreements that must be made and ideas that need to be hammered out and blah f*cking blah.

Reading the article - Kawhi says he sketched out a crude version of the logo to Nike, Nike had a professional designer clean it up, they used it on a shoe (or two), had a disagreement, went their separate ways, and then Nike somehow got to claim ALL rights to this dudes logo? How, Sway?

I dunno, I know @sneakerlegal can definitely make sense of it, but to me, I think it just sounds like bullsh*t. Grifters, man. Grifters.

What do y'all think, should Kawhi retain ownership of the logo that represents him?
