I only found out about this 'release' a few weeks ago...I was never a big fan of most of the Off White stuff, so I never paid all that much attention...but to see that there was a whole batch of shoes that Virgil 'customized' at Nike headquarters is just kind of a cool touch. Even if it's just a stamp and some zip ties...
I'm not all that interested in the aesthetic, but it's definitely (what I think) could equate to 'art on the spot.' I'm just trying to imagine the scene...maybe they were all sitting around and just got inspired at the last minute and asked him to stamp a bunch of blanks.
This is the stuff you might not find out if all you think sneakers are about is clicking that 'buy now' button...
