Yeah yeah, I get it. 'Anti vaxxer 'yeah yeah 'hard to work with' yeah yeah 'he's a crybaby' yeah yeah 'flat earther'...yeah yeah I get it.

Kyrie has been problematic for some time, so it really shouldn't come as much of a surprise that his sneaker line with Nike is probably done with...Again, I don’t mind Kyrie. I don’t care for him much, but none of his antics make me feel any type of way about him. He killed us during game 7 of that 73-9 season, forever cemented in the ‘god I hate that guy’ hall of fame in my mind. He’s an incredible basketball player and Nike has done a pretty damn good job at selling a SH*T TON of his shoes.

At this point, tho, is it any surprise as to why him and Nike aren't getting along? He doesn’t seem all that into it…and…again…I don’t blame him. I don’t envy the kind of lifestyle professional athletes live…It probably shouldn’t, but it reminds me how Nike dropped Kobe (briefly) during the trial in Colorado.

To me, Kyrie got soured on the whole 'sign with them so they can run your life' thing. And I TOTALLY empathize with that. And that's because corporations don't give a damn about you as a person - they only care about what kind of money you can bring them.

I do wonder, though, if Kyrie’s general malaise has actually had any impact on # of shoes sold or if it has more to do with the overall design…and I wonder how Nike would determine if it’s one vs. the other. What do you think? Are they ‘potentially’ killing his sneaker deal because of his attitude, sales, or both?
