My cousin had that David Robinson 'The Right Stuff' poster up in his room when we were growing up and for the life of me I coud not understand what the hell was going on with that basketball. It took me a long time to realize that the ball was exploding(?) while he was about to dunk it(?) I dunno...I still don't get what the message was...lol
I'm sure if @nike could go back in time, they might hire @sonsofblackmaria and I to come up with an incredible advertisement for who DR was and the shoe he was playing in...'The Admiral' doesn't pop basketballs BEFORE he dunks them lol

I first learned of David Robinson through Beckett - I had no idea who he was, but I knew that his rookie card was worth around $3. And that was a lot, for the Hoops set. So...I knew he was at least kinda good...He had a reputation for just being an all around good guy. Just a stand up dude who was clean cut, disciplined, and knew what he was doing and why...Kind of a wild silhouette for a conservative dude.
If y'all want to see something dope, google Tim Duncan's hall of fame speech where he gives props to in the first minute or two and just talks about what a good dude he is...
