The sneaker world sure turned on New Balance quickly when it was revealed that the CEO of NB had been donating to Trump...obviously the charges didn't stick and New Balance came back with a vengeance.
But what about when the founder of Nike does the same (or very similar)? Will anyone care?
Funny thing is, Nike has championed the whole 'progressive' ethos (as a brand) through their marketing for as long as I can remember...but the business end of things is better as 'conservative'? (That's kind of how I describe myself - socially progressive, fiscally conservative).
But back to the question - will anyone even notice?
