Yeah yeah, I know this is old news, but again I'm just trying to figure out wtf is going on...
Some of you know that I'm a stay at home dad. Others of you know that I do anywhere from 50-100 online authentications per day during my free time. I have a ton of different clients, but vast majority are used and consignment stores that just need help authenticating whatever walks through the door.
In 2022, I would say that I was doing probably 50% Jordans, 20% Nikes, and around 30% Yeezys...up until Ye went on his rants.
Over the past month (in which I've done more than 2000 authenitcations), I've maybe done TEN pairs of Yeezys...the *used market for Yeezys (at least with my customers) has effectively DIED. WILD.
But to see this 'operations directive' from Goodwill...it has me just completely confused...never, in a million years, did I think that a 'charity' organization would decide that it's in their *better* interest to put Yeezys in trash bags instead of (selling them or) simply giving them to those in need. Again - that's fine if GW doesn't want to sell them, but GOODWILL is THROWING YEEZYS IN THE TRASH instead of GIVING THEM TO THOSE IN NEED...what in the world is going on?
