Not to brag or anything...but I posted this nearly TWO YEARS AGO. And the only reason I remembered it was because the pairs that I saw on that 'figures report' mentioned in my original post were pretty much the EXACT SAME PAIRS reported through @sockjig ..."Air Jordan 1 High “Mocha,” Air Jordan 1 High “University Blue,” and Air Jordan 1 High “Hyper Royal.”" IIRC, I saw that there were around 20k pairs of each of these pairs released/created, yet more than 30k reported sales on StockX...within 3 months of release.

TBH, not totally sure how to feel or think about it all. Really, it's not surprising to me IN THE LEAST and it isn't going to change my life in any way. I never really bought anything off of StockX, nor have I sold much on there, and the pairs I have bought or sold nobody would even bother with fakes of (so unlikely I'd get got).

I DO like the fact that @stockx is FINALLY being called into question for the impossible promise they made to customers, but...I dunno...it's complicated.

Kinda goes to show how much of a sham this shit really is. They based their rep on transparency and now it's kinda looking like one big, steaming pile of crap.

Thing is, tho, this isn't all that uncommon. In almost every *collectibles* market there are fakes and there are people who claim they know something the rest of us don't know and at the end of the day ANYONE can get got. Good news with shoes is that they have a utilitarian aspect (as opposed to cards or art or whatever). Does it make much of a difference? If you're collecting to collect - yea. If you're collecting to wear - meh.
