It’s the little things on the tag that make the biggest difference (for me). Check out the top left - where the size is. Notice the placement differences of the ‘US’ above the 12 and how it’s centered (or not). Some people say ‘it’s only the tag’, but usually the tag is just a symptom of a more obvious problem that isn’t always apparent through pics alone.
When I authenticate shoes online - it’s through pics. So for the most part, I rely on the tag more than I do the shape or materials (as I can’t really rely on customers to accurately position the shoes in the correct lighting through pics), so the tag is 99% of what I look at.
Again, I get things wrong from time to time, but this has proven reliable for me for the vast majority of my authentications…
