Seems like there’s a lot that can be said about this @travisscott #utopia AF1, but most of it’s already been said.
For me, I caught these on a whim and have been asking myself for the past 5 weeks why I felt the need to buy these (it’s FOMO, stupid)…I figured worst case scenario, I get a lasered pair of white on whites (never underestimate the importance of laser to those of us who were in the streets in the early 2000’s)…
Imagine my dismay upon receiving a bulk pair of white on whites with NO lasering and just a vinyl sticker.
$180 for a vinyl sticker on some sh*tty AF1’s.
$180.
I don’t know who approved this, but I would like to say ‘thank you’. Cuz now…you’ve given me the courage to say - ‘FOMO be damned’ - I’m done with it. And I know why I’m done with it. And it’s because the value just ain’t there…this release was the ultimate finesse. Who else got fleeced with this release?
